Saturday 7th September, 10am-5pm.
A one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course, delivered by First Aid Bristol. This is a standard one-day course with the added opportunity to ask gardening related first aid questions.

The training will be held at Damson Farm, Alison Jenkin’s beautiful walled teaching garden and home, which usually hosts garden design workshops. The day therefore also provides an opportunity to see and spend time in an inspiring food growing site, and to connect with like-minded local people.

Booking:
The course has been organised by Bath Area Growers to provide discounted training rates for local community growers and gardeners. We have some spare spaces to fill, so anyone is now welcome to apply for a place (gardener or not!).  Email info@bathareagrowers.org to book.

The cost is £70 per person. This is good value due to the group booking, it would be around £108 to book an individual place normally. Your place is secured once you have transferred the £70 fee.

What to bring: Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Please bring something vegetarian to share for a potluck lunch.
What to wear: Please wear comfortable clothing. We recommend trousers, as you will be required to participate in first aid scenarios during your training.
Parking: There is parking at the house for about 6 cars, and as there are 12 participants, please walk, cycle or car share if you can. Please let us know if you plan to drive so we can ensure there is enough parking.
Directions: https://www.alisonjenkins.co.uk/find-us. From Batheaston High Street turn onto Northend. Follow Northend about a mile and Damson Farm is on the left. The house is close to the road, with the carpark accessed directly off the road. It is shown on google maps.
